UniversitĆ Bocconi, or Bocconi University, was established in Milan in 1902. It was the first higher education institution in Italy to grant a degree in economics. Bocconi University has been synonymous with liberalism, pluralism, and social and economic progress.
UniversitĆ Bocconi has an Undergraduate School, a Graduate School, a School of Law, and a Ph.D. School. The SDA Bocconi School of Management which was established in 1971 has since been providing management education.
